is changing them myself a pretty simple task or is it something i should let the dealership do? if its easy could some one explain the process, i know im pretty ignorant about all of this but i really would like to learn any thing i can about my bike (this is the first time the pads need changed its a 2007 suzuki gsxr 600)

I dont think i'd change my own brakes on my bike either. Even though i usually manage to change my cars some how, i dont trust myself on the bike mechanics enough

Although you can do it with little knowledge I would advice to let the professional handle it. I remember when I had to change a spark plug once and trying to do that I eventually damaged the engine faring. Dumb struck me!!!

on 2007 gsxr 600 I will say no. If it was some old bike you can try all sorts of things. That is one advantage of having old bikes.
