I need to buy a bike basically to allow me to cycle on the cycle path with my 11yr old son and 8 yr old daughter. Not looking to spend much as it won't be used more than 2-3 times a week (20-30 minutes at a time).

A lot of outlets are selling Silverfox Nevada's for around £120.

Knowing nothing about bikes I am cautious that at this price it might be poor quality.

Would this type of bike be okay for the limited use I am looking at?

i always say if you think it looks cheap don't get it. now im not sure of the bike you speak of, but the only help i can offer you is that pick a midrange bike as it will without a doubt last you long time.
