I just joined the forum. I have been thinking about a buying a bike for a while. Now it makes perfect sense with the high price of gas.

Welcome to the site! Great news you're thinking about coming over to the dark side...definitely with the price of petrol nowdays, it's a sensible idea.

I'm myself looking at getting a UZ125 scooter solely for commuting to and from work, which will pay for itself within months, on my savings on petrol.
Currently spending say $240 p/m on petrol...this should go down to $50-60 I'd guess. Definitely worth it!
