Default Brake Fluid and Chrome Polish

First off, dig in to the assortment of donuts and rolls I got at the
bakery this AM. There's fresh coffee and if you'd like something else,
see Shirley.

I was washing and waxing my bike AGAIN yesterday. I know, shocking,
isn't it? TWICE in one season! Anyways, didja know that a bottle of
brake fluid looks *exactly* like a bottle of Turtle Wax chrome polish,
except they have different color caps? No disaster here as I actually
looked at the label. I'd have noticed, too, once I dumped some on the
rag I was using.

I just thought it was odd that they use the exact same bottle for these
two products...

Did you ever notice that the pump soap is similar to some of the pump
hand lotion bottles?
Did you ever wake up in the mddle of the night with that dry winter
skin feeeling and go to put some lotion on?
Did you ever rub frickin' hand soap all over yourself and think that
this lotion seems to have an awful lot of lather?
Then have to take a shower in the middle of the night to get all the
damn soap off?

Never store hand soap next to lotion if the bottles are similar!

No shit. Target sells those two-bottle combos in a little wire stand.
Ok, if you're going to put it next to the sink, make sure the soap is
the one closest to the basin. I'd set it that way then my son would
switch it around for some unknown reason. Next time I washed my hands
I'd end up with a handful of lotion instead of soap.

Motorcycle content: the soap isn't strong enough to get grease off your
hands when you finish wrenching. HAROM.

Oops! Be pretty careful with that stuff. Brake fluid can be a fairly
good automotive paint remover, depending on what kind it is.

Oh, I know that! But I'd have noticed the difference once I poured it
onto the rag...

I got some when I washed my bike this spring and found that I had chrome
on there! I never noticed it before!

While back my wife got my little grandson all ready to go swimmin', little life
jacket on, sunblock, etc.

THEN......we noticed that once in the water he was starting to lather up pretty
good. I asked her what she put on him.....she said sunblock....I asked her to
show me.....

Under the sink in the downstairs bathroom was about 20 bottles of sunblock, a
variety of brands and strengths.....

And one bottle of baby shampoo that I had NO frikkin idea of where it came from,
although she fessed up to putting it there....

What do ya think she'd coated the little guy with.....exactamundo......shampoo.

I asked her what she'd thought about the "sunblock" having a strong strawberry
smell as she lathered him up.....she shrugged.......

And I was like.....why the hell did ya put baby shampoo under the sink in a
bathroom without a tub/shower, the grandkids get their baths in the guest
bathroom upstairs....why wasn't the shampoo there???

Of course she was like....why is the sunblock under THAT sink......

Um......because ya walk right passed it on the way out??? It's got a mirror so
ya can carefully apply sunblock to your face/neck/ears????

<shrug>

And when ya get old enough that your eyes aren't what they used to be...doesn't
matter where the stuff is......ya can't read it anyway.

My wife got into the cupboard the other morning where we keep our meds, looking
for SOMETHING.....my stuff's all behind the left door, hers behind the right door.

She got into "my" side and moved things all around.......I about shit, good
thing I was paying attention.....I can't read the frikkin pill bottles without
my bi-focals......almost took a vicoden instead of my BP meds.

Those kinda mistakes could be bad ones......

Yeah...but I don't have much any more. Just enough to cover a couple of the
remaining bills and my burial.

Once I retired we rethought the life insurance "thing".....

Insurance on me no longer had to provide for her in case something happens to
me, 100% my pension continues for her till she goes (if I go first).

We shifted the majority of the life insurance to her when I retired, at about
1/2 the coverage we had on me. If she goes first the insurance will pay for
burial, the balance along with the $$ in her 401k will pay off the house so I'll
be pretty set I think.

I did explain to her that the insurance wouldn't pay off if she farkin murdered
me.......

I need the same color shampoo bottle so I can tell what I'm using. If my
wife switches makers I can't read to tell if I'm grabbing the shampoo or the
conditioner.

Vicoden won't hurt ya, I've taken enough of them to know.

Better not piss her off...... you might find the shampoo and depilatory in
the same bottles! At least you'd save money on haircuts for a while.

Watch it , buddy , yer on thin ice . Hydrocodone is my drug of choice for
back pain . Which comes back every time we try to wean me offa celebrex . I
hate having to take shit every day just to be able to function . Guess it
must be a byproduct of maturity , cuz most of my mature friends also take
shit every day just to be able to function .
Other than that , it's actually pretty good to be me .

Who was it that did that at one of the MITMs? It might have been some
itch cream, rather than Preparation-H, tho. Jeeez, I can't remember who

Red flags are waving here. You need a new bed or an exercise program
or somethin. That Celebrex is gonna rot your liver, 'specially combined
with rocky mountain coolaid.

I have an easy chair that wrecks my back if I fall asleep in it. New
Beautyrest lets me heal at night and I am able to avoid daily meds.
