Hey Hawgeye. Nice to see you. Have a drink of your choice. I started going
right after I got out of the Corps in '92. It was great fun then and for a
few years mainly because it was a great party and I always go with a group
of friends. A few years ago (especially when they started the "gold rush"
shit) it sucked so bad that I swore it off. Evidently I have programmed my
body to expect to go to every fall as I start craving it as soon as it gets
warm. Also, like I said, I have made some great friends there over the years
and have had some friends that have moved away that I onlly see there.
I really do miss the days of the kick ass party in the parking lot with all
of the other people that would pre-stage up to a week ahead of time to
guarentee a good spot inside. The gold rush package doesn't stop people from
pre-staging, it just breaks the party into 2 lots that are too far apart to
comfprtably walk therefor kinda farking it up.
Damn, I am chatty tonight. Sorry. Have another round.
