a little late, but I didn;t see anything about it here on RMH
As of October 1st, anyone caught doing 30mph over the speed limit in
Florida faces vehicle confiscation, five to ten years in prison and a

I think the power will be abused to confiscate bikes/vehicles. I can
see it now, some pissed of cop lying his ass off to take your vehicle,
on the spot! hell like the kids car that was sold at police auction
before he ever went to court

In all fairness they should have the same punishment for doing 30mph under
the limit or for leaving your turn signals on and never turning.
