| | | Question Shirley, a fresh beverage for them that wants one.
As some may know, I purchased a forward control set for the 1996
Sporty 1200S whilst in Daytona.
I got the left side done fine if a bit slowly. It should shift when I
want it to, if I can depend on my foot, and seems like it will make me
a bit more comfy.
The right side was much slower and still isn't done. As I was trying
to figure out how I could avoid pulling off the exhaust, I hate
pulling exhasts, I removed the panel that the brake pedal peg and rear
master cyliner are attached to...Or I should say I got it off enough
to get at the back side of the brake pedal peg. There was a little
bitty cotter pin, but these old eyes couldn't spot a nut, even with a
flashlight. Too much dirt?
Now before you say it, I did look in the manual and I didn't find
anything about how that peg is fastened. I know, I prolly missed it!
So an evening of top shelf for the one that conveys the solution to
this stiff and sore old man. I really need to get a lift. Sittin
cross legged on the ground if for kids...Ouch!!! The hands are not
feeling to shipper either. I think a drop or three of Dickel would be
required here...That 12 year old stuff is gooooood!
On a brighter note, the electric impact wrench that came as part of
the battery operated dirll/driver kit I purchased a year or so ago
works great for taking off and putin in bolts and nuts. I do need a
couple of knuckles and an adapter or two so I can match it up to more
sizes!

Youse guy don't understand pink frillies! Ya go to the mall and head
for Vickies secrets. Pick out the best of the sales staff and ask her
to model pink frillies for ya. When ya find the right one, throw her
over your shoulder and head for the scoot.
She'll love ya for it in the morning!! Honest! >BG<

them over my shoulder anymore. I just press my nose on to the window
till they tell me to stop drooling on the glass! |
