Wasn't it a Christian who blew up the gov't building in Oklahoma City? I
don't have a problem with individuals based on their religion. You obviously

freedom includes your hating someone because of a perception to ties with a

As it turned out, my sister and BIL came up from Albany, GA, I thought
it'd be bad taste to leave them. It was raining, we were on our way to
the party (all packed with parts to head to Florida), and the sky opened
up. We discussed the possibilities, and I turned around for home, and
Jinks headed South. As it turned out, it rained even harder. Besides,
I knew I'd see ya at SCUM.

Like Len said, we didn't get far & the bottom fell out on us. I had
room for all the parts headed to Fla., Len had family he could spend the day
with, & I was gonna get wet no matter which way I went. I opted for one day of
wet rather than two. Even in the rain the ride back was better than the one up!

Second and third receivers are half price, also. My wife listened to

one for Christmas(ironic, as he bought the first one, couldn't pay the
bill and gave it to me to activate in my name).

I used to be a "The Plug" believer (I did the custom "foam ear plug"
mod). Until I bit the bullet and bought Etymotics ER-6i canal phones.
Great sound isolation so the music doesn't have to blast to get over
the wind noise, great sound otherwise, super small wind profile in
your ear. http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6i.aspx
I think I spent around $80 on them.
They even work well when I ride without a windshield.
Make sure you get the 6i and not the plain 6. The plain ER-6 doesn't
handle bass real well, and isn't a good rock or country canal phone.
Works great for classical though. My ER-6 just collects dust now.
The ER-6i is the only phone I've found that works well and is a great
earplug when you turn the music off. But if you depend at all on road
sound while riding, maybe not so good.
I use a Sandisk Sansa E-260 (4gb) mp3 player: http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Prod...o.aspx?ID=1940
I have a silicone skin on it that raises the buttons so you can
change things when riding: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Sansa-Premium-Silicone-
Accessory/dp/B000KE6VMW
or http://tinyurl.com/3p25nk
It comes with a belt clip system which I lost, and had to buy a new
belt clip from Arkon that I clip to my tank pouch.
The Sansa has a mechanical ring for adjusting the volume, so you want
the buttons raised higher than that. The whole things works well even
with my thick "old school" turn of the century Gerbing gloves. The
mechanical ring works really well with the gloves on.
Just don't screw up and hit the wrong button or it goes into a menu
mode that will screw up where you are on the playlist. Which I did on
my last trip 3-4 times over a week, which necessitated a pull over at
some point to rectify.
I recommend the 8gb version if you can find it, the Sansa E-280,
which you can find for around $80, but they've been replaced by other
models I'm not familiar with.

thank you for the recommendation. that is EXACTLY what i had in mind when i
originally asked the question. i wasnt so much concerned with cost as i was
in finding something that would actually work. these look like what i need,
and i found many sets on ebay in that same price range. thank you again,
ill certainly have a set or two on the way.

i have the exact same mp3 player. picked it up at best buy some time back.

ive had the same thing happen to me many times. ive found if i turn the
unit off and back on again and start over with a "play all" i dont have to
stop because i can do it without looking. trying to recover otherwise would
indeed require a stop.
thanks again for the great information!

Haysoos Crispy on a Canister Hoover, what a mess. Your neighbors sound
like an excellent spot for testing a low-yield neutron bomb.
BTW, those metal brackety looking things you have pictures of are hinges
for things like cabinet doors. They're used on things like stereo
cabinets and suchlike as well.
