I'll buy a round to toast a guy that's got his head screwed on right.

I'd like to get the next round , havin' been pretty much where he was at -
and knowin' you're the kind of guy he's thankin' . There ARE still good ,
kind , and honest people out there , theyre just overshadowed by the
publicity the jerks get .

When I was a dispatcher, I often tried to call back helpful people like
that (if I had their info or could get it from the cops) and let them
know the outcome. Often times the people on a scene like that see the
guy get packed up and hauled off, but they never know what becomes of him.

I managed to be of a little assistance a few years ago when a
Goldwinger bounced off a car right in front of me. (He picked a good
spot to do it less than a mile from the hospital.) A few days later I
went by the hospital to inquire about his condition and because of
privacy rules they wouldn't even admit he was in the hospital. I've
often wondered why he did what he did and how his recovery was.

Ride safe,
