Default riders who carry

hello,
in another thread i was pleasantly surprised by how many folks accept
responsibility for their own security by legally carrying firearms either
concealed or open. in an effort to assist any and all new to carry (as well
as making a few good recommendations to those seasoned in carry) i have
prepared a carry guide that you may find beneficial.

http://concealedcarryforum.com/forum...?TOPIC_ID=4121
there are NO sponsors, NO hit counters, and i benefit in NO way other than
having the satisfication of knowing i possibly helped folks to embrace the
ideals of carry. this is indeed an example of "something for nothing".
unlike some groups, we embrace the newbie and welcome the chance to educate
them on responsible carry.

enjoy,

Thanks Nathan. I carry. I also joined your form last week. Nice site.

I think the biggest challenge carrying is when we travel and keeping
track of the laws in different states. I have permits for two states which
gives me more carry options. Also handgunlaw.us and the NRA's
book help keep track.

yeah, i got in one of this guys threads in another of my newsgroups and it
it has become regrettable. i think he starts em, stirs em, then wanders off
leaving a mess in his wake. nothing like guns or politics to make a mess of
a news group and i should know better.

his little girl comments got on my nerves finally. although some of
his comment was dead spot on with this group I just tire of hearing of
it.

I need to get out of here for a day or three on the bike, haven't rode
anywhere to speak of this year at all. and hornets are in season or
something, every time I open the dungeon door they seem to fly in,
they are driving me nuts already this am, all I want to do is fix a
couple simple things on this bike and take her for a good spin!
Arrgh..........

You could have ridden to Snarl's again, there was only one lonely BMW in
attendance this year.

I pulled up behind a pick up truck at a traffic light the other day.
It had the obligatory giant tires and lift kit, and several NRA decals
in the rear window AND the back bumper (in case I missed the window
decals, I guess.). The guy also had a personalized plate that read
IMPACKN.

I guess some guys cope with impotence in different ways.

indeed, and theyre changing so fast that its hard to keep up. thankfully
the laws are changing for the better and will FINALLY serve to benefit those
of us who DO follow the law.
thanks,

why does it have to be a sexual expression? why he would advertise i dont
know...but in general law abiding folks are just tired of being victimized
and are taking a proactive stance against those who would beat them, steal
from them, rape them, and much worse.

yeah, why? He sezzed there's a dead standing tree down there that
should be cut down. I looks where he's pointin' and see he's talkin'

I'll let someone else write chapter two...

Obviously the guy has something to try to prove or some reason
he feel's obligated to advertise he carries. I and those of my
friends who carry would never advertise the fact. Why lose
the element of surprise. We just choose to have that extra
tool to work with if confronted by the criminal element. It's
not something everyone is comfortable with.

despite trying ive yet to be able to embrace open carry.....to the OP was
this in texas by chance? there are many who are pushing for open carry in
texas; perhaps its the closest he can get.

no, it means a lot more than that. what would freud have to say about the
need for recognition for jumping over on the bandwagon? :-)

and its cool. it doesnt hurt my feelings one bit. i would actually very
much prefer that the assholes stay in other threads anyway. there are still
PLENTY of good folks here (that dont require the constant affirmation to
ease their own insecurities) who just come here to talk about harleys and
other related topics without having to play the "im a pretend 1%ER so buy me
a pretend drink so that i feel special" game.

WRONG. this may be a foreign concept to you, but not everyone uses the same
computer all the time. some are set up differently. if it REALLY bothered
you so much you wouldnt click on the message with my name clearly posted,
and you CERTAINLY wouldnt have responded.

perhaps i over-reacted a little. i realize this place means a lot more to
many of you than it does to me and i will try to respect that but in return
you (not YOU specifically steve, the statement is collective) need to drop
the hypcrisy. you dont say in one post that the VB&G is whatever you want
it to be and then bitch about something as insignificant as a signature
tag-line in another.
