The bias on freerepublic isn't against motorcycles. It's Clooney.
He's a loony!
I made a joke. Sometimes I just crack myself up... Like Clooney.
Ah... I made another one!

But not against bikes. We have no love for George Cloony. You will
notice, however, that despite his moonbattyness, many still wished
him well.

Women cagers think it's a mocho male unnessesary weakness while most
non-riding cager males are just jealous. YMMV!

I assume you are referring to,
"Rosenfield said the accident occurred when the vehicle signaled a
left-hand turn, but turned right and struck Clooney's motorcycle.
"The car signaled left. George was riding to the right. The driver
decided to make an abrupt right turn and clipped George," he said.
That was in the second link and not the first.
Our local newspaper ran the AP release which after stating they were
wearing helmets wrote,
"It wasn't known whether the Mazda's driver, whose identity was not
immediately released, used a turn signal, Kelly said."
In the context it was given I was thinking the question was whether
the driver had signaled his turn to the right. The mention of a left
turn signal puts it in a whole different light. |

Reading again the AP release had,
"Clooney and Larson were traveling north and sped up to pass on the
right of a 1999 Mazda Millenia that was preparing to make a right
turn."
Kinda explains why I was wondering about a signal to the right. |

Not necessary. Spend an hour reading either of those sites and you
will find multiple examples of posters wishing death and pain on
people they disagree with politically. You seldom find that on
FreeRepublic, the site mentioned in the post I originally responded
to. When that type of post shows up, the moderators generally remove
it and suspend the user. There are exceptions, but they are few. The
FReepers will wish them well personally and ill politically, as they
did with George Clooney.
Read DU. It's quite an education. I read it every day. While KOS
isn't quite as bad as DU, it's not a pleasant place.

hmmm.. You may be ever so good of company on your motorcycle and the
road, but if you can stomach the disgrace that George W.Bush has
brought to this country, since he's been president, you have sure got
some peculiar priorities..
Can't say much about the Democrat leadership, either.. They sure have
not performed up to the expectations of the constituents who elected
them.. Bottom line is.. George Bush doesn't represent the genuine Rep-
ublican in that party and the Democrats who were elected to run his sorry
ass off, along with Dick Cheney.. have utterly failed to do what they were
elected to do.. All that being said.. wanna hear some words of hatred and
vitriol.. listen to Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and/or Ann Coulter for just
a
little bit..
Sorry 'bout that.. but your comments on this thread.. neither impress nor
intimidate me..

If he was muy macho, he wouldn't have taken so many deferments to stay out
