Default Death Valley?

I'm doin' this. I doubt I will ride my Norton though. Maybe. I think I would
prefer the Buell.

March 7-9 (Fri, Sat, & Sun 2008) - Death Valley Weekend: Ride leaves
Ridgecrest at 8:30 am sharp on Saturday, March 8 to the valley and on to
Beatty, Nevada. Contact the Rodeway Inn (760 384-3575) for reservations in
Ridgecrest on Friday, March 7; and, the Stagecoach Casino in Beatty (775
553-2419) for Saturday, March 8. A spectacular ride at the best time of year
to enjoy Death Valley. There will be a chase truck.

Is there an organization behind this ride? How many people do you expect?

Oh, I forgot the link. It's the So California Norton Owners Club Ride. We
are meeting the Las Vegas Norton Owners Club in Beatty.

I can just imagine the caravan of trailers with broken down Brit iron
proceeding through Death Valley to NV, and the grim resolve to never
attempt a road trip again...

Something you and I agree on, for a change. Even in the last Hansen Dam ride
there were broken down British Bikes littering the shoulders of the route.

Remember, Krusty, these things are now 40+ years old and still have Lucas
electrics. Even with the best of maintenance, they still have their
problems.

Hey, don't make excuses. You got a Norton. Get out there and
represent.
