| | | First day of school Who do these students think they are, taking MY parking spot before 7:15am.
And after lunch I had to ride all over campus to find a spot. What? Do
these damn scooter, old school Jap bike riders think the best parking is
reserved for them? It belongs to us old fart employees. Damn kids, get off
my lawn!
I guess I'll just have to use my 'A' pass parking permit and take up one
entire cage parking spot. That will piss 'em off.
And who do they think they are hitting my web server 4000 times per hour
between classes. Damn kids.
Oh wait, without students I wouldn't have a job. And my god, the eye candy
is wonderful, you got to love freshman. Life is pretty good. |

How awful, man my heart really goes out to you. Stiff upper lip and
all that.. winter will come and they'll cover up a bit and the bike
parking will open up again too. |

Hehe, this is the UofU where the bad mormons go, the good ones are all
down in Happy Valley at BYU.
Any day now the Evangelicals should be showing up around the Union to
debate the Mormons and tell them they aren't really Christian. It is
quite comical.
Last year there were dozens of messages written chaulk on the
sidewalks, they all said: "Would Jesus come to your kegger?".
All I could think was, "I hope so, he could turn the water into wine." |

Yep. Went back to school 4 years ago, when I was just 45. Got an eye
full........and a 4.0 GPA. Now I make way more money so I went out today and
bought a new ST1300. Nice bike! |

I would prefer a sherry. Amontillado if he can swing it.

When I was in Israel we stopped at the place (Cana?) where Jesus turned the
water into wine. The gift shop was selling (and offering free samples) of
"wedding" wine.
As I recall it was very thick and sweet and STRONG. I didn't buy any, one
shot in a plastic cup was enough. I thought to myself, the real miracle was
that they drank it. |

Which brings up something I sometimes wonder about. Why did BYU "borrow"
their colors, mascot, and even locale, "happy valley," from Penn State?

Sigh. I have to wait a whole 'nother 6 days. It's like Christmas when
you were a kid. Except now I have boots older than most of 'em. |

The standard reply around here is, "No, I actually *work* here". |

Heh. This year we had a dozen summer interns where I work. I had a
couple of occasions to get laughs by telling them that I have socks
older than they are!

lol, though if you will recall I had some fun at my last unit.
Everybody E-4 and below and most of the E-5's were younger than my
motorcycle...and that it ran better than most of them. ;^)
