I'd be more likely to boot up a browser and look at links if the OP
would give even a short sentence on what the link is about.

Especially when it's posted (sometimes multiple times!) to *every*
newsgroup I've visited today!!!

It was something in Italian about somebody who was working on the roof
of as house and somehow (Babelfish isn't very good) got tangled in the
cables of a crane.

It was hit of the highest order. A guy being lowered safely to the ground by
a crane.

Not even remotely funny. Now if it'd been the OP and he fell 150foot, then I
would've had a laugh, but unfortunately, it wasn't and he didn't.

I'm actually very disappointed to find he's a modeller.

Me too, but not anymore.

My UH-1 model B was a fucker when it came to ribbits. Thousands of the
bastards and all holes hand drilled.

Dunno about anal, but it WAS a ball-ache. Looked good though and flew
superbly.

Depends on the scale adn the aircrafat if you need the rivits eh? One
of the worst I'd think is one of the catalina series or the big sea
plane from the RAF.

Oh indeed. This was a 1/5th scale Huey, complete with mini-guns and a little
"Fonzie" in the driving seat (gotta keep the time line right:-)

Plus, they're not helicopters.

pick pick pick...attitudes like that are why I never wanted to do ANY
scale detailing. Mostly it isn't scale because you'd never SEE it on
an aircraft of any type when the aircraft is that size. Something I
learned living along the final approach for McConnel AFB in the early
70's and being under the final for Hood airfield watching C-5's
overhead at a range that made teh aircraft 1/4 scale...didn't see no
rivits, panel lines yeah. 8^) Still lusting for a Kamen Husky.
