Heat steel BBs red hot before loading them into your Blunderbussket and they
will seal the edges of the holes in synthetics to prevent fraying.

He may not be able to; particularly if the red-hot steel BBs set off
the charge while he's stuffing them down the barrel.

heh I was waiting for him to think it through. Stupendous Man does
figure these things out before the ER visit you know.

Hopefully; but sometimes people *DO* forget to engage their brains
while using firearms.

I was once sitting next to a friend who was about to clean the shotgun
he'd been hunting with all afternoon. He was holding it upright
between his knees when he somehow pulled the trigger and discharged a
twelve gauge load of 00-Buckshot right through his living room
ceiling. (Fortuitively, it was only a one-story house...)

When the lath, plaster, rafter, and shingle particles finally stopped
raining down on us, he quietly said "Oops."

I no longer hunt with him.

I still have all of my factory installed parts. Use an asbestos wad.

heh, that would keep you from burning your rod when ramming it home.
