You won't believe this, but I have personal third-hand knowledge of this
case.
The crime apparently happened very near the residence of one of the local
pilots at the Marshall, Michigan airport.
The "rancher" cited is (according to the rumors I heard) a female law
enforcement officer in some capacity. Anyway, when she suspected that her
sheep were being improperly interacted with she made the right phone calls
to have DNA evidence collected. I believe this was a large factor in the
conviction.
I'll check my facts and post again if I have any more info. This is all
from a conversation I had a couple years ago.
Also (in a funny twist that relates it back to motorcycles), the pilot
involved is a first-time motorcycle rider this past year. He first bought a
125cc bike, didn't like it and traded it back for a 500cc bike, then didn't
like that and traded it back for the 1100cc or 1300cc bike he has now. This
all happened in the space of about 8 weeks. He helped make the dealership
(M&M Motor Mall in Kalamazoo) profitable this past year.

Yeah, looks like I got the major details right: http://www.pet-abuse.com/cases/5625/MI/US/
I'm suspecting also that my memory is correct on the owner being a law
enforcement officer. Most members of the general public don't have the
training and experience to push to get a DNA sample taken in that set of
circumstances. |

The guy is about 65 years old. I strongly suggested that he take the MSF
course, but he wouldn't have any part of it. Anyway, as best I can tell, he
is a safe rider. I see him tooling around on the bike at the airport from
time to time.
He isn't a reckless idiot. By all accounts, he is a very conservative
pilot. That comes with being 65, I think. |

In truth there *are* a few "old bold" pilots, and I've ridden with a

*lucky* pilots".

BTW, I saw the guy today, and we talked about the recent sheep news. He
gave me more details.
Everything below is somewhat unreliable, as it is word of mouth ...
The sheep owner is apparently a police officer in Albion, Michigan. She had
to push very hard to get DNA evidence collected from the sheep (the other
law enforcement types didn't want to do it initially).
According to rumor, the police officer also had a really rude woman-to-woman
talk with the guy's girlfriend. Something along the lines of "Are you sure
you want to be with this guy when he is doing sheep?".

You are correct! Her sheep are bony and not ready for market. Unlike
the two I got back in aug. Nice and large, good muscles and they
didn't get nervous untill the knife was against their necks.

I was under he impression that sodomy was just anal, then you go throw
oral in there and I just had to google it.....where it shows beastiality
is sodomy as well (where I was thinking from the article the guy was
