The liberals also want to bring back the 'Fairness Doctrine' (
which, BTW, might easily be applied to blogs, websites, etc ) to force
private companies that disagree with them to give them a forum for
their views, because of the massive failure of their attempts to
create 'liberal talk radio'. They found out that no one WANTS to
listen to them ( and thus no market share, thus no advertiser buys,
thus no finance for the show ). so they want to MAKE people listen to
them.
The standard liberal idea of 'freedom of speech' - it means
'only US, no one else, gets to be heard'.
