Default [ot] Juvenile delinquent repellent

Having a problem with crowds of pesky youths? Just install a device that
makes mosquito sounds. People over 25 can't hear it, so it's an ideal
solution for convenience stores etc.

IMO there's something unwholesome about the whole concept.

Sean_Q_ - over 25 but for some reason reading the above gave me
a sudden urge to go out somewhere and cause trouble.

That's a false theory. I'm 59 and I am irritated by those things. I
highly applaud their use. Only something much more permanent, like a
land mine or trip wire grenade is more useful.

There is nothing more stupid than a youth in a gang. And there is
nothing more dangerous than a gang. We have a task force being setup
in my county to pursue and eliminate them.

A simple shoot on sight order would save the day. This is one case
where an amendment (public assembly) needs to be suspended. These
thugs have killed too many people. One just got a life term for a
shooting in Annapolis Mall. He was in turn shot by a Government agent
who was carrying concealed.

He was shot for trying to shoot the agent, after he had tried to kill
another gang banger. He's in for life now.

He was a negro trying to steal a coat or something. The Annapolis and
Edgewood Maryland gangs are out of control.

A few well placed shots can cure this. Simply having them ove away
just moves the problem.

I'd like to acquaint you with a little device created by Eugene
Stoner. You want to cause trouble. I want to eliminate trouble
makers. I believe in a permanent solution once an offender has been
identified. I don't believe in second chances.

Recidivism is 97%. Therefore the idea of ever releasing a trouble
making youth is simply going to get someone killed eventually as they
always move to serious crimes.

Are you on the path for an introduce to police firearms ?

They've been using that at a local mall aimed right at a bus stop where
kids hang out.
It's also a very busy bus stop where many people wait for the bus including
youth who have no vehicle or can't afford downtown parking.

Producing annoying high frequency sounds that kids can hear but their
parents cannot detect sounds like a human rights violation to me, and
use of the Mosquito Alarm has been questioned in other countries.

"Moving Sound" might as well be a Harley ad. The sound source also provides
power to the rear wheel, allowing you to move the sound around, to bring it
with you when you travel, rather than annoy only one neighbor.

Kind of interesting. I wonder if long-time riders have less ability to hear
the higher freqs than others of their age.
I can't hear the tones above 14.9kHz. According to the site, i am a
30-something but am actually 48. Not bad for a 40 year rider (mini-bikes
with lawnmower engines) who works with machinery.

They are simply trying to have an effective deterent to the gang
problems without having to hire a REAL police force.

A man was SHOT by a neighbor that he was deliberately annoying with a
motorcycle last week or so.

Even I have to agree that was excessive. Holing a cylinder would have been
sufficient. (Amend the advertisement to add: "Moving targets are harder to
hit.")

Teenagers milling around, swearing and fighting deprives businesses of
their right to have an environment conducive to free commerce.

If the teens cannot be repelled peacefully, they should be arrested.
This is quite a major problem thoughout Maryland.

The shopping center now have a code of conduct which is expected to be
adherred to. The next step will be Police who will act instead of
"security" officers who won't.

You must be right about that. I actually heard 1 last week, out of
perhaps the first 1000 or more this year, that was quiet. So I know
it's possible.

Most of us around here have been harassed by motorists. The guy who
got shot deserved it. The Police wouldn't act so I have to say I
would tend to support the shooter in this.
