I used to believe that the Antarctic was a pristine wilderness free of
the worst excesses of vice and squalid behavior indulged in by the dregs
of human society -- that is, until I read this news story:

It is indeed shocking to read of such scandalous conduct amongst
the supposed innocence of the Animal Kingdom. But that is not all!
Further reports of homosexuality, prostitution and marital infidelity
have emerged within the penguin community:
"Chinstrap penguins occasionally indulge in homosexual behaviour,
and adelie penguins sometimes "prostitute" themselves to get stones
for nest-building; while one in seven emperor penguins will change
partners from one year to the next."
I am shocked and dismayed. Perhaps contact with corrupt humans is
the cause of such depravity. This spreading malaise of moral degradation
is surely a symptom of a world-wide breakdown of Right Thinking and
Healthy Family Values.
I hereby call for a continent-wide biker's rally and ride to
Washington, DC in support of the Protection of Virtuous Penguins and
Other Nature's Children.
