Default chased Toseland today

On the R1 today.

At a roundabout, I came across a Rizla liveried Suzuki with the rider in
full dark blue leathers with 52 on his back and a smudged autograph (I
presume Toseland)

Out the roundabout, I thought I'd wait for him to give it the beans, which
he did only the bike didn't go anywhere.

He wrang out his dishcloth on the right handlebar, but the bike hardly
moved.

And so, he became a distant memory.

So? Was it a 600? 750? Are they really that much slower?

Might it have been a 250 or 400? (if they exist in that shape) Or
restricted?

*Everyones* comments I've read about the 600/750 say that they're easily as
fast as the litre bikes on twisties.

Course the muppet who bought JTs leathers might just be a crap rider?

How old was the bike? The old 600 SRAD was rather gutless. Typical
GSXR400s were easy to spot, they had a rear-end much like an RGV250,
nothing like their bigger brothers.

GSXR750 K4
RGV250 VJ22

big triagular tail light (GSX-R ish) and single large silencer on RHS
the paint job took away the normal distingishing marks.
No 'hump' of an SRAD but I know where your coming from.
will just have to watch for it again.

I don't recall Toseland ever riding a Suzuki, let alone a Rizla one.
