I would like to think that no one here indulges in that adolescent
puerile trivia that describes itself as the social networking site
Facebook. I can't speak for anyone else, but I gave it a go for a week,
then thought "What the fuck is wrong with a fucking e-mail?".
Maybe I'm old and crotchety. |

<checks Spamcop logs> I've got over 56,000 pieces of spam in the last
year, getting an extra one or two a day from harvesters isn't going to
make much of a difference.

I'm afraid I lasted a couple of months, but utterly failed to see the
point for the whole time.
The Darsy quoted someone saying that Facebook was no place for a
straight man over 20, and I took the cue.

Heh .. poor Lozzo, eh? That one fairly blew up in his face.
Actually I created that account to access someone's profile after they
sent me the URL. I had forgotten it even existed and indeed had to ask
Facebook to send me my password.
Still ... I've got me another stalker!
Heheheheh...

"Deactivated" mine too, but it clearly remains, as I can "reactivate"
it at any time. ISTR some discussion about getting the account and all
info on it permanently removed. Anyone remember how?

You need to use their support-contact page to tell them to delete your
account, putting that in both the subject and the message.
There's a Facebook group that tells you how to do it...

Can't be - singularities have an attractive force, and I believe he's

Quite difficult to play properly, mind. At least in finger-picking
style.
