Get it checked out. I've, erm .. 'got one', and it hasn't done me any
harm in the =~ 23 years I've had it.
But, get. It. Checked. Out.

I happen to have a lump in one of my shoulders. Had my specialist nurse
prod it, and a doctor. They think it's 'something in the muscle'. Going
for a more thorough inspection of it soon. |

Well, If you are over 40-ish then you are probably too old for it.
I was told this by a specialist whilst he was looking into my eyes whilst
holding my conkers in his hand! Surreal and a tad worrying, but I felt a lot
better after I found it was nothing to worry about.
Have you had the snip? cos that can cause funny lumps without anything to
cause concern.

Worth a chat with the GP though, and get a prostate check while your there!

Not until you get a test done. http://www.tc-cancer.com/overview.html
Fwiw, I had a slight moment of concern a few years ago when my GP
utterly forgot to arrange a scan for me. Luckily it was ok.

My last 3 doctors have all been women, the most recent of which was
seriously cute. When visiting, it was very difficult to appear anything
other than fully fit and superb breeding stock which I suspect made
diagnosis difficult.
She's just moved to Gloucester though, so with any luck, you might get
ill ;-)

Get it checked out. I have some experience in these matters (although not
with my conkers). If, god forbid, it is cancer, the earlier you get it the
better. Especially in that situation as complete cure is very common when
it's just an isolated lump on one ball.
And if it's nothing, which it probably is, then you'll be very happy you
went :-)

Looking on the bright side, once it's cured he can go on to win the Tour
de France five times.
It's a very common side-effect, apparently.

BTDTGTTS.
Get thee to a good doctor NOW.
Unless, of course you want to lose both of them and still be on the
worry list for 10 years in case it spread elsewhere.
If the tests are positive you will only lose one and you have a spare
so not a problem unless you leave it for too long.
The tests are simple and not very intrusive, delay is a BAD idea. |
