We haven't seen it here today either. Supposed to go to Santa Cruz
today, I hope we find it there.

Yes. Just back from a very pleasant 4 hours sat in a pub garden by the
river, with lots & lots of sunshine.

Despite today being the only half-decent day of the weekend, the only
time either of my bikes has turned a wheel was when I rolled the gixer
out to give it a wash.

Indeed. Due to the unusual combination of a day off & sunshine, I took
the MV out for the first time this year, & spent most of the time sat
outside the pub. Also lame.

I did tidy up the garage a bit. And then failed to win an ebay auction
for a set of race cans for the RGV which saved me 200 quid.
Hopefully it'll be dry for Notting Hill on Monday.

I've only seen someone next to me stabbed there once, and that was 8

I was with me, on holiday in the Austrian Tirol for most of last week. It
seemed to follow me back as I flew into Southampton yesterday.
Mind ewe, by the time I drove up to the M4 at Newbury it had decided to
fuck off elsewhere.

There was a big shiny thing in the sky off the coast of Northumberland
today. Is that what you're looking for?
I've even been in the North Sea, more than deep enough to get my bits

Pretty uneventful really. Some slightly heavy-handed policing and
something approximating an armed standoff round the back of the
Chippenham, but otherwise pretty quiet.

Heh. I may not have been being totally serious.
Interesting that there does seem to have been the usual levels of
serious crime though.
Had it been a bike rally, the police would naturally have banned it.

I'd be surprised if you could find 600,000 people who wanted to go to a
bike rally in the first place. Rather low attendance this year.

I read something like 90 arrests. Out of close on a million people,
that doesn't seem too bad.

Hmm. Most of the bike rallies I've been too had a couple of hundred
people at most.

When I went to the Farmyard Party in 2000 I thought the overflow
campsite was the main event and was quite impressed with the size of
it[1], little did I know the main site stretched about 3 miles up the
river bank.
